To children’s yoga
At Little Yoga Studio, our children’s yoga classes aim to support a child’s mental and physical development by teaching them the wonderful benefits of yoga in a safe and respectful environment.
As well as increasing their strength, our classes are designed to help children create a strong sense of self. We firmly believe that laying the foundations for self-confidence and awareness early on, means they are far less likely to be lost come adulthood.
Using the Yoga Bananas Technique, our yoga practice helps support your child through their many stages of development. We strive to give them the the tools they need to confidently navigate such life events as starting school, family crises and new friendships with confidence and positivity.
We also offer family yoga classes once a month. The perfect way for you and your child to experience the wonderful benefits of yoga together, these classes are a fun, 45-minute session and a great way to connect and relax. Expect to get some ideas of ways to practice yoga together at home, with each session including a creative yoga story with poses, breathing techniques, partner games and relaxation designed especially for you and your child.
